leam comic con 2019

Can you believe our award-winning comic-book convention is 5 this year? That's right, Leam Comic Con returns on Saturday the 5th of October 2019 to celebrate with another action-packed show at the iconic All Saints' Parish Church, Leamington Spa.

Guests include comic-book legends Jamie Delano (Hellblazer, 2000AD, Doctor Who) and John Wagner (Judge Dredd, Strontium Dog, Robo-Hunter, A History of Violence and Rok of The Reds) Mike Carey (Hellblazer, Lucifer, X-Men, 2000AD), Kev Hopgood (Zoids, 2000AD, Action Force and co-creator of characters War Machine and HulkBuster), Dan Cornwell (2000AD, Rok of The Reds), The Etherington Brothers (How To Think When You Draw, The Phoenix Comic), The Awesome Comics Podcast and this year's Comics Laureate, Hannah Berry.

As well as mainstream Guests, we proudly champion Small Press creators and independent publishers. Leam Comic Con is focused on comics, so you'll find no TV and Film guests at our convention, just plenty of comics - new, old, and self-published.

While our show is all about awesome comics, we're a family-friendly show too, with plenty to see and do for all ages - kids under 13 are free with a paying adult and can take part in lots of free superhero-themed arts and craft activities on the day. If you're a parent of little superheroes, why not join our Facebook Group - Leam Comic Kids for lots of ideas to channel their superpowers all year long? We're also proud to have been called one of the most welcoming shows for Cosplayers and recently created a Facebook Group - We Love Cosplay for costumers to show off their creations and chat.

As a niche event focused on comics, our exhibitor spaces are invitation only so we can prioritise local talent and support local businesses and ensure a good mix of items for sale and limit competition. Applications for trading at our 2019 are now closed.

We'd like to thank everyone who has bought tickets or traded with us in the past and helped us celebrate the awesome medium of comics in Leamington Spa. As an independently run convention, it really helps us to secure exciting Guests and extra activities on the day, when people buy their tickets in advance.
